MY NEW HAIR CUT!!

WELL WOWZERS!!! This weekend I got a new hair cut...and...I am loving it! I was super nervous but had been wanting to do this for a long time and finally got up the courage and here it is!! Let me know what you think!!

DO YOU REMEMBER "JUNK IN MY TRUNK"

Do you remember a while back I had posted about an amazing idea that came to me about trunks???? Well as girls turn 12, we generally receive or give a hope chest. The items that go in this cedar trunk are things that one might want one day when she marries or for her future home. Well the cool idea I had was for a 12 year old boy, getting a camp trunk and mod podging mission scrap paper all over it and then do something in vinyl lettering on the top. This could be used when he turns 12 to start collecting things to prepare him for his future mission, or it can be used when he returns to put all of his mission memorabilia in. I did it for my nephew and his turned out really cool. The vinyl lettering said, "Elder Johnson's Mission Trunk" and I found some really great paper, and I even painted some portions black and distressed the metal so it didn't look so bright and shiny! I wish I had a picture, but I spaced it, just trust me, HE LOVED IT, and thanked me multiple times for his "awesome trunk!" Total cost was about $20 bucks!!
