It's Raining, It's Pouring

It has been raining all over Arizona, and it seems to be all around our house, but never here at our house. And finally, within the last 3 days, we have had a little bit of rain every day and it has been so gorgeous. It makes me miss the mountains so much. During the summer monsoon months, every afternoon at 1pm, the storms roll in and at 55*-60*degrees it is like a piece of heaven. Last night, I was driving home from Globe and after the valley had just been poured on, what was left was the most amazing sunset. Full of oranges, pinks, purples, and yellows. The rays shot straight up through the clouds above, and the sun laid down behind the mountains, leaving us a sensational array of colors. I thanked my Heavenly Father for such a gorgeous site, and I believe the greatest artist of all is he who created our little planet. There isn't a painter known to man kind that can capture the sunset like the one I viewed last night. Arizona is incredibly diverse and I love it. I took a few photos with my phone, but they didn't quite capture the magnificence of it all. However Mr. Tony Crow from Tucson, Arizona took this gorgeous photo.

CHEAP SCHOOL CLOTHES and SCRUBS $3.99

Tonight we went to Arizona Mills Mall and the Scrub Store across from Old Navy is having a close-out sale, so each piece is $3.99! A great deal if your in the Medical Field.
ALSO, if your looking for some good deals on kids clothing for Back-to-School...sizes 5t-12, JC Penney in the Mills Mall has a bunch of items for $3.99 as well. I bought the girls a bunch of long plaid shorts, with matching shirts. So each outfit cost me $8.00....so great!! Also, there are (HUGE lots=many pieces)of clothes on Craigslist and e-bay that are excellent. Also, consignment shops like "Once upon a Child" will take your last year clothes (in good condition) and give you store credit to buy school clothes for this year. They also take baby gear and toys in trade of store credit, which you can also use on clothing, or more gear. I also have lots of friends who are purchasing their childrens clothes at thrift stores and Good Will. In fact, I just heard that Good Will has half off Saturdays, so all the $2 shirts are then $1. You may think I am a cheapo when it comes to new school clothes, but why spend a ton??? Also, "The Children's Place" has really adorable jeans for $4.99. I have also been to "Burlington Coat Factory" this week, that has a ton of cute clothing, and also "Ross" which I wasn't very impressed with this time. If you live close to a K-Mart, they have slashed back their prices for "Back-to-School" and if your budget is tight, I believe they still have lay-a-way. ANYWAYS>>>>>>HAPPY BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING

Camping This Week

We went camping for the 4th of July with my immediate family. So my sister, her husband and their 4 girls, my brother, his wife and their 5 kids, Us and our 3 girls, my parents, and two puppies...coco(my sister's new chocolate lab) and summer(our new black lab). We played cards, horse-shoes, swang on a tire swing, went on Rail rides in my bro-in-laws Sand Rail...which is super awesome, saw lot's of big elk, ate some really delicious food, watched the dogs attack each other, played with babies, floated around on Blue Ridge Reservoir on our inflatable raft, and talked a lot. It was super fun...we are all a little tired....but it was super fun. We did miss the fire-works but plan on catching them during the Gila Valley's Pioneer Day Celebration. I would like to add the reason there are no pictures to accompany this post is that we dropped our super awesome camera into the lake.......so dangit. That seems so quick and impersonal, but it's just a recap.
